Hello community. I am new to this program, but not new to trying to lose weight. Hoping the support will keep me motivated to keep going. Thanks in advance.

Welcome! Motivation is what you want - if you want weightloss, it takes time and doing, not trying - it took me a little over a year of conscious effort to lose 50 pounds; if you have way more to lose, maybe you can make it in four months, but generally, deadlines for weightoss is a bad idea.

i have about the same to lose after already losing 50 but i have given myself a year to do it - target date is my wedding next summer - slow and steady wins the race for me

It took me around a year to lose 40lbs at a sustainable rate.

Losing it safely and keeping it off in 4 months will depend on your start weight, what rate of loss you can comfortably sustain and if you manage to learn from the process.

50 is pretty aggressive. I'm all over it right now and making about 1.7 lbs/week. I'd set a shorter term goal, maybe 9 pounds in a month and see how you do. Don't set yourself up for failure.

I just started to get serious today. I need to lose about 20 lbs. My realistic goal is a pound a week. Being over 50 it's really difficult to lose the weight!

Totally Doable, but don't weigh in all the time. Focus on other aspects of your life while doing what I suggest is OMAD + Keto. Do your own research of course but if you really want to lose it quickly that is the best way I've seen. If you can't sustain that however, don't do it. You should turn your entire life into an eating habit that is sustainable and healthy with little cheat days sprinkled in, not the other way around with the cheat days being the norm and the healthy stuff only for when its out of control.

Hello! Im wanting to lose around the same but my first goal is 14lbs (1 stone) and then my main goal is to get to my goal wait for a special trip to Mexico in November! I’ve also just started T25 workouts again as they were great last time!
