Almond Milk + Abdominal Pain

Hi all,

So a couple weeks ago, I drank some almond milk and immediately after I felt nausea and then I started to have intense abdominal pain. To counter the pain I was feeling I took 2 painkillers, which helped. However, the morning after I still had this mild irritated, nauseated feeling in my stomach. The only thing that makes that feeling go away is by laying on my stomach. Any tips or ways to get rid of this feeling without laying on my stomach?

Thank you in advance for all the help!

You had almond milk two weeks ago and your stomach still hurts? Or you want to know what to do when this happens again in the future?

Yes, my stomach still feels irritated, and nausea. I stopped drinking almond milk since this has happened. I want to know if anyone has an idea of what to take or do to stop having my stomach feeling the way it does right now.

Doctor. (And at this point I'd doubt it's the almond milk.)

I would go to a doctor. Two weeks of stomach pain isn't a normal reaction to one serving of almond milk, even if one is intolerant of an ingredient in it.

Make an appointment with your doctor.

Go immediately to the doctor. Where’s the pain located in your abdomen?
