The first covers accurate logging and some of the tools in MFP to help you make things easier. The second discusses caloric needs and setting goals. These two posts completely changed my MFP experience and helped me be much more successful, so I hope they do the same for you.

Hi Megan, I am new here also, but remember the key is consistency. Every day is one more day to be happy that you are one step closer to your goal. This is a great motivator and the way to wake up each morning, "Today is the day I make my goals come true". You can do it, find your motivator, maybe it's your music or doing your favorite activity. People reach their goals because they genuinely, overall, enjoy doing doing it. Find your source of strength, leverage it to your advantage and reach the goals you have set. Best of luck!1
