Do any of you ladies have a hard time eating during that time of the month? I had a really bad period this month and I haven't been able to eat. I was to continue losing weight but like I said I have a hard time eating. What is your advice or solutions?

This is me too! usually I always read about women craving and binging but it totally kills my appetite and I usually lose a few pounds.0

I get super thirsty during mine. No cravings/excessive hunger to speak of, just want to drink lots and lots of fluids of all kinds.0

Yeah, I have the exact opposite problem, TOM hits and i just want to stick my face in a pile of food and leave it there for 5 days.0

Yeah this is me too. It was especially hard last month since I had just started eating better. Please tell me it gets better after time:laugh:0 -
I'm the exact same way. I want nothing to do with food at all. I only want water or coffee lol. weird i know, but thinking of food makes my stomach upset during that time0

Oh man, I wish I had that issue! During TOM, my cravings are the worst! Hopefully, someone can provide some advice for you tho.0

No. I am normal during my period except that blood comes out of my vagina.
What a relief! I thought I was the only one!0 -

OMG you bleed??? How long does this go on for? You should seek medical help.0 -

Ditto! I also have this problem when I am generally not feeling well. Most people cant eat when they are sick and all I want is something packed full of flavor.0 -
I typically get so much pain that I will get sick if I consume anything the first few days. I have noticed that my body craves calorie dense foods the week before. I believe my body has learned that I won't be eating anything and therefore stocks up early. Even drinking calories with juices, shakes and whatnot will help. My husband makes me some wicked soups when I am practically bed ridden. So maybe if you were to make some soups that you could freeze and just heat up, I am sure it would make shark week easier.0

I got a sex change and became a man. No more TOM for me. But I miss my boobs0

I usually have "easy, short" periods. But the months I have hard, long ones I never eat and always lose weight that week. The week before is always the toughest for me.0

Just listen to your body, if you're worried you are not eating enough with exercise (esp if you're weight training) see if you can drink protein shakes.
I used to find i only lost my appetite if i had my period during really hot weather. When in doubt, listen to your body :-)0 -
I go off food and just want to laze around. Iv just started mine today and already feel not bothered0

Hahaha. Nice.0 -
Sometimes I have trouble eating and other times I've eaten nearly anything that was in front of me without even realizing it! The only thing i can think of is to stick to a schedule. You have to eat, even if its something small, and if you're on schedule it helps a lot. Also, GENERALLY this is a bad thing, but when I have situations like this, I force myself to eat...by doing something else and going through the motions. Then I've eaten everything.
Sort of the way people sit in front of the tv with a bag of chips. That's what I'll do with something healthy in order to get my calories in. Otherwise I wouldn't get my calories in!0 -
