My people are not early risers or breakfast eaters so I will probably be the only one eating before noon.
    I might make some muffins.

I don't know what I'm realistically going to have time to make.

So far I'm thinking tiramisu for dessert (I can make that easily the day before), and we have ham and... I have no idea. Still trying to plan that out with my friends.

I typically make cinnamon rolls or some sort of Easter bread too but I'm not sure how it will work this year, depending on how much time I have the day before (or in the morning).

Not a very diet-friendly day for sure.

    I have been thinking of
    spinach quiche
    deviled (stuffed) eggs
    asparagus with ham
Those muffins from Lounmoun sounds great and will give it a try.
    Fresh orange/grapefruit juice
a carrot dish (they are calling me mommy the rabbit already)
a salad thats a must on the table

    hmm what else

What about just plain fruit or veggies? Strawberries or melon? Fruit skewers? Veggies and dip? Stuffed tomatoes or cucumbers?
At every family gathering I go to it seems the tortilla roll ups or pinwheels are popular. Maybe something like that would be good.

Hm, I'm having breakfast-lunch on Easter Sunday as usual, I think it's great, but nothing out of the ordinary - B: pumpernickel with ham, milk, cantaloupe, carrot; L: porridge (barley or cream of wheat) with butter, Granny Smith apple with peanut butter, broccoli.

    Ham
    Potatoes au gratin
    Prime rib
    Veggies of some sort

Unfortunately, we'll be heavy on people that dislike lamb this year so I won't be making that.

I don't celebrate but I'd eat all of the things.

Breakfast will maybe be a protein yoghurt or small bowl of cereal ahead of a ginormous family lunch

We don't usually do breakfast because of the mad rush to get to church....But dinner will be jam packed with comfort food goodies. Will be first Holiday missing 2 of my kiddos (both serving in the Army) but the other 4 have requested plenty!

I don't care too much but I do know I am weighing in the day before Easter as well as drinking ALOT of water cause the menu will cause water retention.
Remember to TASTE not gorge! Mindful not mindless!

Nothing too special. We'll be going to my parents, we're just getting a deli tray and everyone is bringing a side/dessert to share. I'm making grape salad - it's SO good. Here's the recipe if anyone wants it

    Ingredients
    2 lbs green seedless grapes
    2lbs. red seedless grapes
    8 oz. sour cream
    8 oz. cream cheese, softened
    ½ c. white sugar
    1 t. vanilla extract
    Topping:
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    1c. chopped pecans

    Instructions
Wash and stem grapes, set aside.
Mix sour cream, cream chess, white sugar and vanilla until blended.
Stir grapes into the mixture and pour into a large serving bowl.
For topping: combine brown sugar and pecans, pour over top of grapes to cover completely.
    Chill overnight. Stir before serving.

I'm smoking a prime rib. There will also be ham, funeral potatoes, veggie, rolls, deviled eggs, and four different desserts.

First Easter at our house after years of having it at my mother-in-law's. Ham, mashed potatoes, sauteed green beans, roasted carrots, a green salad, deviled eggs, blueberry pie and some sort of chocolate fluff with crushed Oreos (my sister-in-law doesn't eat berries).

For me, I'm hitting the green beans, carrots, salad and deviled eggs pretty hard and having a bite or two of the other stuff.

THE day is over. Thanks for all the great ideas.
    I added fruits, salads, muffins
Still had lots of left overs
I stayed away from the chocolate but not the rest :/:/
