Got serious (Jan 16th 2018): 208lbs
April starting weight: TBD
April goal: 183 lbs
Ultimate goal: 180 lbs (BMI <25)
- Original Goal: 185 lbs by July 1st
- average 1.0lbs per week
- drop about 10% of body weight
Non-Scale Goals:
- get BMI closer to "normal"
- A1C/Glucose back into "normal" ranges (never too high)
- HDL up to 40+
- Improved fitness - ready for backpacking Grand Canyon (7daye) and Philmont with Boy Scouts (12 days)

I know that I am well ahead of my plan to reach my original goal. With that plan, I had expected to reach
195 by early April. And that is well in my rearview mirror! My new goal of 180 by early July is very achievable. I owe a big Thank You to MFP and all of you. I have managed to keep on track and motivated (and weighing and logging everything).
I imagine that these last few pounds are going to be the hardest, and July is a few months away. But I am
up for the challenges.

This should be doable. Maybe by writing it down it will motivate me more. Been working out all week and eating with in my calorie count -- feel good but haven't lost -- I know Rome wasn't built in a day -- but still..........
Have to give it time -- didn't gain the weight in a week either!
