Hello everyone. To start off I am 28 years old and currently 147 pounds. I started dieting and lightly exercising 12 days ago and my start weight was 151 pounds. I have been drinking soylent 3 times a day during the week and on the weekends I drink them twice a day with a healthy dinner. I have been doing squats, leg lifts, and abs on most days and I just joined a rock climbing gym and have gone twice so far. I have always weighed around 125 - 130 pounds and gained so much weight after moving in with my boyfriend. Love weight! I finally decided that I need to lose a lot of the weight that I gained. I'm sticking to this and hoping to be able to fit back into my bathing suits for the summer.

I had to ask google was soylent was! why not just eat normal foods, track your calories? might be more sustainable.

    All the best.

Just remember that you have to go back to eating real food once you've lost the weight and that means changing your eating habits from what got you there in the first place. I understand the reason for the replacement shakes, but I believe that learning different eating habits will help you better long term than a strict caloric deficit to reach a specific goal.

Honestly, it's much easier for me to drink the Soylent. There is nothing for me to prepare, I know exactly what the calories are and it fills me up for hours and they are really tasty. After I lose the weight, I still plan on drinking soylent for breakfast or lunch everyday because it has alot of nutrients in it and I enjoy the taste.
