Hello all, I’m new and starting Keto. Just curious on what to eat while in the intermediate fasting stage? Also what supplements should I take to help with Keto flu?

You seem to have a very specific version of the keto diet in mind. What does that author recommend?
Keto flu is basically dehydration. Find an electolyte replacement or salty broth.2 -
First you have to tell us what the intermediate fasting stage is (I've never heard about it, and Google gives no understandable definitions). For keto flu, eat more salt.2

this is true! Lack of salt has been shown to be one of the major culprits to the keto flu3 -
Do you mean intermittent fasting? That requires you to not eat. It's got nothing to do with keto though....1

Yes, that’s what I meant. Many recommend fasting to get into Ketosis. Are there other ways to get into the Ketosis stage?

intermittent fasting is recommended for keto. I usually stop eating at 7 at night and don't eat until 10-11 the next day. If you stay under 500 calories your body is still in a fasting state. i usually have ketones to help me get to 10 am then i have bulletproof coffee that helps me stay full until i eat at 2-3. I usually stick to the 16/8 format.7

I found a recipe for “ketorade” and have a glass every day to ensure I have enough electrolytes. Essentially I mix 1/4 tsp. Of lo salt with 1/4 Himalayan salt with plain seltzer and the juice of a quarter lime. I actually enjoy it, as weird as it sounds! I’m only 3.5 weeks into Keto so I’m not really fasting. I stop eating around 9pm and don’t eat til 8 or so. Maybe that is IF?4

Welcome to keto Tomorrow will be week 6 for me. IF will help get you into keto - using up your reserves. I got my flu about 3-4 days in. I drank broth and take magnesium - which really helps. The above posters are correct - salt is a big deal so make sure you're doing that.
Good luck! I've noticed a huge difference in inches falling off more than weight. I've lost 12. Seems slow compared to others - but the inches are so great!!4 -

Simply eating very low carb is all that is needed. Keep carbs under 50 g and you will be in ketosis within a day or two.
To speed it up, or get deeper into ketosis for a health reason, exercise, fasting, and raking exogenous ketones or MCT oil, will all raise ketones faster than just cutting carbs. None are needed though.

Look up Thomas DeLauer on YouTube. He has so many videos that are full of info. I've been following his advise for a month now and I'm starting to see some real results.4
