What’s the lowest calories intake a man should take while dieting ? Right now I’m at 1,800-2000. I’m 23, 5’9, went from 223 to 205. But for the last 3 weeks my weight goes up and down from 205-207. It’s been frustrating

Depends on the man and the circumstances.
I'm 67, 5'8, 156# & 8.3% BF (as measured by hydro) and am currently maintaining at 1550 net cals/day but my actual intake is 2100-2200 (which is well beyond my min nutritional needs) and I consistently burn about 550-650 cals/day rowing and lifting.
Never been healthier or felt better in my life.2
