Anyone else having an issue today with iPhone steps not getting logged in MyFitnessPal? I’ve done 11,000 steps so far today and excercise calorie adjustment still says 0??

It's a known issues effecting a few different trackers.1 -
I had this problem with my i-phone yesterday and today! Not happy as it is affecting the goals I have set up!! How do we fix?

Same issue here beginning 3/31. Using an iPhone and NO external step tracking type device (so the app. should be grabbing the data internal to the phone......not sure what that notice impacts in this scenario?!?!?).0

I think it's part of the issue that is affecting logging food in the daily diary.0

Same thing here. Started yesterday all of a sudden! I liked the way it showed up on the app, hope it goes back to how it was.1

Hi,
I have the same issue. I thought the app is connected with C25K. I did my training today and nothing. No exercise recorded. Do you know how to fix this?0 -
There is currently a trifecta of semi-related issues affecting the Food Diary, Recipes, and syncing.
I doubt the proximate cause was the actual data breach, but more likely MFP's attempt to make some changes to strengthen the security of the site that has messed up their software coding.
There is a workaround for creating Recipes posted in the relevant article linked below.
Website users can copy meals from other days or search the Food Database to add from there using the website until the favorites list issue is resolved. Another option is to add food to the Diary using the iOS or Android app. That seems to be working.
Although the syncing issues started because of scheduled maintenance between MFP and Fitbit, I am guessing that the issues with the MFP server/router that does the syncing with Fitbit likely affects other activity trackers and other synced program apps. I would guess once MFP resolves the issue, the syncing for all trackers should resume.
For the current status of technical issues, please see these articles, and search for answers to Frequently Asked Questions and other helpful articles, on the MFP Help/FAQ pages...
