Steps not transferring

Hi everyone
My steps aren’t transferring over to MyFitnessPal from Fitbit. I have to delete and reinstall both before linking again to show some of them. The Fitbit shows the food and works out additional calories but this app stays at 0 or low steps thus making the adjusting inaccurate. What have I done wrong? Help please!

Dont know if its back up and running but ive just unlinked apps and uninstalled mfp and then restarted everything aswell as my phone and steps are back. In on samsung 8 with gear sport and hasnt been working since Saturday but is now.0

Perhaps they could just get the software to work, remove the annoying message about the security breach for those of us who have already changed our passwords, and stop burying answers to tech questions within pages of poorly worded search topics. Get it together MyFitnessPal!1
