Yoga video - Calories burned correct?

Options
I did a Yoga with Adriene (45 min - "Deep stretch") video. MFP is calculating this at 134 calories burned when I have identified it simply as "stretching," but it seems inflated to me. I identified it as stretching, rather than "yoga," as it was not a "power-type" yoga. I'm newer to CICO though, so perhaps I'm wrong.

Thoughts/ opinions?

It could go either way. You burn calories just sitting there, remember.

Seems a little high for a yin-type yoga class, IMO. (I do vinyasa/flow yoga classes and only give myself ~200 calories for 75 minutes of work.) If you are eating back your exercise calories then I would err on the conservative side for any calorie burns.

Yeah, I wish MFP had a few different calorie options for yoga. I do a lot of YWA, and it gives me 70 calories for 30 minutes. I log it!

You're correct, yoga isn't a particularly high calorie expenditure, even Astanga.

I generally assume 50-75 cals for an hour of Astanga.

Ok thank you. I'm going to reduce the calorie amount to 50 and leave it at that. :)
