Unable to Add Recipe

Is anyone else having trouble adding a new recipe? I've been trying to add the same recipe for two days. I go through the entire the process of adjusting the recipe then I get an error message when I try to save it. I track my carbs for health purposes so need to add the recipe to see how many carbs I'm eating. I would appreciate any feedback.

I have never had this issue. I did notice that my fitbit steps have not registered at all in the last few days so perhaps there is a technical issue happening? My husband is having the same issue with his account so I know it isn't just me!

I couldn't add from the website today. I did manage using the phone app though. I was using the import recipe feature. The old manual add recipe was more stable in my opinion, but I managed to import mine today on my phone.

There is currently a trifecta of semi-related issues affecting the Food Diary, Recipes, and syncing.

I doubt the proximate cause was the actual data breach, but more likely MFP's attempt to make some changes to strengthen the security of the site that has messed up their software coding.

There is a workaround for creating Recipes posted in the relevant article linked below.

Website users can copy meals from other days or search the Food Database to add from there using the website until the favorites list issue is resolved. Another option is to add food to the Diary using the iOS or Android app. That seems to be working.

Although the syncing issues started because of scheduled maintenance between MFP and Fitbit, I am guessing that the issues with the MFP server/router that does the syncing with Fitbit likely affects other activity trackers and other synced program apps. I would guess once MFP resolves the issue, the syncing for all trackers should resume.

I'm also having the same issues with Fitbit steps not syncing with the diary. Thank you Cyber Tone. I wondered if these issues had something to do with the recent data breach. I will check out your links and try to be patient while they sort it all out. Thanks for all the feedback.
