Hi, I just embarked on my journey of losing 90 pounds a week ago. Upon weighing myself today I discovered I weigh 11 pounds less. As the title says is this large drop in weight over such a short period healthy.
Note: I have made three life changes in the past week also 1. Dropped drinking anything besides water. 2. No fried foods only grilled 3. Make an effort to run 1 hr each day.

Yep, very normal. Even more so with males.1

It’s common to lose a lot of water weight at the beginning of a calorie deficit as your glycogen stores get depleted, especially if you’ve cut your carb intake down. That rate shouldn’t last much longer, though, and if it does you may want to consider upping your calories.2

Its not unusual for me to see a large weight loss when I first start up and then kinda even out after the first week or so. I usually hit a plateau about 3-4 weeks in as well where I won't lose anything for 7-10 days. All of this while doing the exact same thing every day.
11 lbs is a big chunk, but if you factor in water weight and increased cardio, and maybe just a normal fluctuation that happened to be downward at that moment, it's not unheard of. As long as you aren't undereating and starving yourself to do it, be happy with the loss (but realize that this is NOT the norm, the rest will come off more slowly if all goes well, as it should).
Congrats on the loss and good luck on your journey!2 -

Yep, I definitely had a quick drop to begin with.
I dropped 2.5kg (5.5lb), 1.9kg (4.2lb) and 2.3kg (5lb) my first 3 weeks. So, 6.7kg (14.7lb) in three weeks. Then the fourth week I rebounded and went up 0.2kg (0.4lb).
Since then have been steadily losing between 1.4kg (3lb) and 0.4kg (0.8lb) each week which I'm pleased with since I have over 100lb to lose.1
