ARFID

Does anyone have any experience of coping with ARFID? I was diagnosed with ARFID and food neophobia at the age of 9 but the issues went further back than that. Does anyone have any tips or advice on dealing with it and have thoughts on how to make sure I get all the nutrients I need, short of just taking supplements?

I wish I had an answer for you. I have the same issue. I understand your struggles. My issue is with textures of food and vegetables. Only potatoes & corn for me, so I know I'm not getting some of the good nutrients I need. Good thing is I do like fruit but with fruit low carb diets are hard.0

I have the same problem, and it's a challenge, no doubt about it. I've learned to adjust what I do eat with what fits into my diet (low carb/high fat, 1200 cals a day and I do 5:2)
So my advice is to look at the foods you do like and either have smaller portions or find alternatives that will fit into your eating plan.0
