Eat more. High-calorie foods like nut butters, cooking oils, avocados and pasta are your friend. Ice cream wouldn't hurt either.

Now THIS I know!!!
I'm a self appointed expert in this field as ive been fat for years!
Increase your portion size: I find a family size or share package is about right.
Eat high calorie foods: Cheese, ice cream, pizza, burgers. All the things that are yummy but you know you shouldn't eat.
Move less: I find binge watching something on netflix for a few days at a time does the trick.
Eat your emotions: having a bad day treat yourself. having a good day treat yourself. having a day treat yourself.
Fill in the gaps: Haven't eaten in 5mins grab a bag of chips. Have to walk up a flight of stairs, stop half way to eat a snickers.

i had problem with gaining weight when i was younger. i could eat all the crap food in world and would still be skinny. i feel for you as i hated being skinny more than fat (which i am now ) I gained weight in my 30s and my body changed shape. it will happen. you can help by eating carbs and alot more protein/weight lifting. i never did this as had no clue back then0

Oh i took the bait and ran with it!! This is like the only thing I can give REAL advice on LOL2 -
Eat several times a day to stoke up the fat storage. Breakfast, brunch, lunch, snack, dinner, before bed snack. And if you can manage it, a (3 am) night time snack.0

No, I meant that generally the term "fat" would be thought to cause an indignant reaction...like if you're a pre-teen, that would bother you.
Mostly people here are adults and that word isn't a loaded term.
I too could give lots of advice about gaining weight! Just live on Butter Pecan ice cream and pigs in blankets. That should do it.1 -
Multiple packs of chips, whole bar of chocolates, drink milk/coke instead of water, eat Big Mac for breakfast. That 'helped' me when I was a kid.2
