Starting MFP for the 3rd time! Need motivation!

I have used MFP before with average results, but now am in my mid-40’s, weigh more than I ever have, and don’t like the way I feel- let alone how I look... Any advice or encouragement is welcome! My goal is to lose 75 pounds...

    Just keep at it. I have failed in the past but I am now doing not too bad. Don't focus on having not managed in the past bu think how you will do it this time around.

    We have all failed at losing weight or we wouldn't be here. I just started my 2nd time on here. Try making a couple of changes in your diet. When you are used to that make a couple more changes. It takes a while for a change to become a habit. We are replacing old bad habits with new good ones.

    5th time here. Start off great but give up after awhile. Basically haven’t lost weight just maintaining where I’m at. I haven’t found my motivation yet. But I’m still going to give it a go. (6th times a charm!!??) ☺️☺️

    If this is your third time, did you start a new account each time?

    The best thing is to commit. Choose a cute profile picture and don't leave.

    I started using myfitnesspal 27 months ago. During that time I've almost reached my goal, retreated from it, and resumed pursuing it. I do not pretend that this is a way to succeed, but I will say that I do know I will be using mfp for the remainder of my life. I already know that the discipline of logging, as light as it is, is necessary for me. I suggest that you settle in for the long haul. You know how, you know what, and you know why. Be patient and do it.
