Hi my name is Hicks and I’m of the Endomorph body type. I’m very athletic and move fairly well. I just don’t understand why this muffin top wont go away. Been struggling and my weight has been up and down. Never too big and can’t even get close to being skinny. Genes won’t allow it. If you have any advice, I’m listening!

Being an endomorph isn't a thing.

Eat in a deficit, lift some heavy stuff, you'll lose weight.

Genes will allow it, but some people have to work harder/different than others. What has your routine and diet been like when you've been trying to lose before?

Idk, I'm no expert at weight loss but for the first time I'm losing some. I've been watching videos on clean eating and paying attention to what I'm putting into my body. I've finally wrapped my mind around what I've been doing wrong. There are so many things that are sold that say they are healthy when they are not. My advice is to go back to basics with no processed meat or food and eat clean with portion control. I only eat half what I use to and save the other have for another meal later. I eat more frequent also. Watch your sugar intake by looking at the labels. I have also cut out most breads although I do allow myself an occasional English Muffin. I'm never hungry and figured out lots of tasty meals so I don't feel deprived. Eating organic also and Sprouts is where I shop. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress.

Somatotypes isn't a thing. If you already know your "genes" won't allow something, I guess you won't like this advice: Everybody loses weight in a calorie deficit; buy other styles of pants/trousers ;)
