Heya everyone, so I’ve started to do dieting and I’m running low on supplies for meal prepping and don’t have much money and don’t want to eat junk food in our house. I got $25 and I don’t really know good recipes and meals for 2200 calories per day. Can any help me out with a meal plan for the next two days? I’ve been looking on YouTube a lot and google trying to get ideas but I’m not having any of it. Any help would be appreciated!

You don't have to "eat clean" to lose weight.
You only have "junk" food in the house? There isn't any Minute Rice, canned beans, chicken, tuna, veggies, fruit, dry pasta, yogurt?0 -
Getting someone to det up a full meal plan for you is probably unlikely as those who know enough to set up something good will probably spend some time doing it and want to get paid. Some good cheap options however are:
Homemade chili with beans, canned tomatoes, some other vegetables and minced meat if you eat that
Oatmeal
Nuts
Homemade Pizza
Pasta with canned tomatoes, green peas and minced meat bolognese
In season fruit and vegetables1 -
Buy some basics - eggs, frozen vegies, rice/beans, bread, peanut butter. Maybe meat/fish if you can afford it..0

Is that $25/wk, per day? etc.
I dunno about where you live, but a family pack of boneless skinless chicken breasts here is about $12 depending on size, and it's generally enough for me to have a chicken breast (large one) for dinner for 7 days in a row. If you have a family you're feeding it won't last that long, but along with the chicken you could make salad, eat whatever veggies are on sale, etc. You can bake or fry the chicken, but baked will mean less oil. Just use salt/pepper and bake it until done, then check out the dollar stores or isles in your local store for condiments/bbq sauce/etc.0 -

Buy in bulk if you can and shop the sales or reduced items.
Rice, dried beans, tough cuts of meat, eggs, apples, bananas. Compare fresh vs. frozen produce prices and see what's cheapest. If you have a slow cooker, you can do a lot with those tough cuts of meat. Generally whole chickens are cheaper than chicken parts, and you can roast the whole chicken, eat the meat and save the bones for a soup broth.0 -
25$ for 2 days? That's plenty.
1 loaf of bread - 3 dollars
1 jar of peanut butter - 3 dollars
2 bananas- 1 dollar
16 oz 4% cottage cheese - 3 dollars
4 cans of tuna - 4 dollars
2 potatoes- 1 dollar
1 can of beans - 1 dollar
1 bag of frozen veg - 1 dollar
1 bag of shredded cheese - 2 dollars
portion of ground beef - 6 dollars
Mix and match for meals and snacks.
