Hi I’m from Saskatchewan I’m in my mid twenties and just had my second babe ! I’ve heard amazing things about this app and I’m hoping to lose some pregnancy chub but also strengthen my body , not necessarily trying to lose a lot of pounds ☺️ would love to get tips from other breast feeding moms on calorie intake ,or moms in general good exercises post baby! Would love friends to discuss goals with and support !!!

There are lots of breastfeeding moms here. I'm sure you know that breastfeeding creates a deficit for you, so it isn't necessary to create a deficit on top of it usually. I recommend setting your account to maintain your current weight to start with, and aim for a pound or less of loss per week. If you find that you aren't losing after several weeks, I recommend getting a food scale so you can be a bit more precise about hitting your calorie goal. If you find that you're losing more than a pound every week, adjust your calories manually and eat more. I'm nursing an 11 month old and stick to 2070 a day on average to lose a pound per week. I've lost 54 of my 55 pounds of pregnancy weight so far (I have .2 pounds left lol), and then I have some bonus weight to lose. I also incorporate a progressive weight lifting program and have had great results maintaining muscle while I lose.2
