Want to lose 20lbs - need motivation

Hi everyone, I've been failing at dieting for the past however many attempts - I need some accountability/motivation to finally do it. I'm hoping to lose 20lbs at a rate of 1 (/2lbs a week if I'm lucky). New to using the message boards but let's see how this goes...

    Motivation is "what you want", and what you want, is to lose weight. You're accountable only to yourself. If 20 pounds is all you have to lose, set your weekly weightloss goal to 0.5 pounds, and aim to stick to the calorie target MFP gives you. Prelogging is a cool hack.
