Either dry red wine, or good craft beer.

As has been said on this thread, it has slightly less ABV than regular vodka so we could just water down our vodka to get the same results. However, the Pomegranate Sorbet (the only flavor of lower-calorie Schmirnoff I've tried, is really tasty straight. Would be even better after sitting in the freezer for a couple of hours.

Beer or amaretto sour. And if I'm having 500 calories worth then I'm drunk off my *kitten* and I stopped caring about calories 2 drinks ago.

I see it's an old thread, but will answer anyway.

With how frequently I drink, for 500 calories, I'd get... drunk.

I prefer teste over alcohol content so I would always go for a nice quality beer or cider. There is a new light beer that I found recently that tastes like a craft beer but is only about 90kcal!

My problem calorie-wise is that after (or during) that much alcohol, I'd be eating more calories along with the 500 alcohol calories...

But to answer the question, I'd either go for most of a bottle of red wine, or 5 Coors Lights.

I worked out that if I walked the 90 minutes round trip to a wine store at a brisk pace I could have a full bottle calorie free. So worth it.

A good Islay single malt, preferably Ardbeg Uigeadail. Other exceptional options would be Ardbeg's 10 year or Laphroaig Quarter Cask. Served neat, because that's the only right way to do it.

At least, that's the preference for my calorie budget. My monetary budget suggests I stick to cheap rum and sadness.

a couple of crafts beers are nice

This was my thought. If I was really trying to get the most alcohol possible I'd do shots of Patron tequila. But my personal preference is a few nice craft beers.
