Well, it's weights day tomorrow

Hi all, just starting in trying to get fit and healthy again, from my last post I have taken the advise from people(that I'm very grateful for) that I should include weights in my fitness routine. So tomorrow is the first weights day and so has anyone got any basic weights routines for beginners to stsrt with. Also looking for more friends to motivate to keep me going, and I will help and support others.

    I just tagged you in the lifting program thread - there are many programs there. Pick one, do some research if exercises are unfamiliar (or consider having a couple of sessions with a trainer to help you out)

    Definitely think about working with a trainer at your gym, trust me it is worth the investment. Plus go for more repetitions and sets with lower weight on whichever machine you use and free weights, repetitions build true strength, it’s all a marathon not a sprint in getting back into shape.
