In search of the most effective weight loss exercises to add to my diet as I monitor my calorie intake. Looking to do at least 5 workouts a week for at least 60 minutes each workout. Anything helps.

I would do stronglifts 5x5 in days 1,3 and 5 ... and cardio (run/Row/cycle) on days 2&4
But that’s me0 -
If you are going to build muscle, whilst losing body fat, then the scales are not going to be your best judge of progress. But building muscle, getting fitter and doing cardio for weight loss in my view is a great way to proceed.
I don't know a lot about all this, but my treadmill workouts take at least 30-40 mins, and then usually I do some weights as well. At this point in time I'm doing Insanity as well which means I spend a lot more time in the gym to get it all done.
I can recommend Insantiy (though its 5 yrs old) for a challenging work out which you can do according to your level of fitness. Not many modifyers though!
Anything you do which is more than you were doing will help.0 -

You'll be quickly disappointed as you discover side effect of exercise is weight gain for many reasons - water.
Exercise is for heart health and body transformation, can help fat loss if done right, can help muscle loss if done wrong.
Diet is for weight loss, fat loss only if done right with exercise (lifting), includes muscle if done wrong.
Don't get the 2 confused as to their purpose.
The only thing exercise helps with for weight loss is allowing you to burn more daily than not doing it.
Therefore when you eat less than you burn - you get to eat more than if you didn't workout.
Usually eating the most you can and still lose weight - is the successful way to adhere to a diet.
Would you rather eat 2000 and burn 2500 with workouts shaping the body?
Or eat 1500 and burn 2000 ending up with smaller version of current self?
Which is easier to stick to?
Plus workouts can make it appear like you've lost more than the scale says - which no one sees but you anyway.
But they do see you.
So ditto to lifting, even though it's a low calorie burn compared to cardio - it'll transform the body more, and retain that muscle more in the face of a diet.3 -
My personal workout is: Insanity for cardio and Stronglifts 5x5 for resistance 6 to 7 days a week with cardio, being the 7th workout, if I choose to do it.

Are you intending for exercise to create your calorie deficit or are you thinking of adding to the calorie deficit you have already selected when you set your calorie goal?
The first option is difficult and the second option is more than likely misguided and possibly counter-productive.
If you flip the question to which exercise should I do while losing weight then it's most likely going to be a combination of strength and cardio exercises in a balance that suits your particular situation, goals and enjoyment.
Five hours a week has plenty of space for a combination of both, alternate days would be my preference.
If you give more information as to where you are now, where you want to be and what you enjoy you might get more precise and less generalised advice.

The most effective exercise, for any goal, is the one you’ll actually do.
You’re not going to do five hours a week of something you detest, however many calories it burns. You’ll last a couple of weeks and then start finding excuses to skip workouts.
Try out a few different things - cycling, weights, gym classes, dancing, climbing, hiking, tennis, whatever - and then do the ones you like best.4
