I woke up this morning and weighed myself, and it seems i went up a pound from yesterday. I had some sushi yesterday for lunch with friends and some noodles in broth for dinner that was a bit salty :( Could this pound increase be from water retention from salt? Cuz im positive i didnt eat 3500 calories

Your weight can fluctuate like that day to day based on a number of things. Likely you're retaining more water than yesterday. This is why I only weigh myself every week. It takes some of that fluctuation out of it.

No your salt intake has been about half of your dailt reccomended amount as laid out in your diary.

if you want to see whats going on weigh your self every day and chart the results that will show you the fluctuations of your body cycle.
  • My weight fluctuates a lot both between days and within a day. I can weight 4 or 5 pounds more after dinner than I did in the morning. Get on the scale, go drink a big glass of water and get back on the scale and you will have put on an extra pound. It is not a big deal. What is important is maintaining a healthy trend over time.
