Not really vengeance but it had a nice ring to it as a title. :D Hello hello, my name is Patricia and I go by Trish. 37 year old from Colorado, US. Married. Tons of medical issues and just hoping to lose some weight to get off of my medication. Issues include: Type II diabetes, PCOS, High cholesterol, high blood pressure, and apparently some sort of thyroid issue. Personally, I feel that my Dr just prescribes Rx for some sort of kickback. Regardless, you can see by the number of issues that I take a number of medication, which I'd like to stop.

My short term goals are to lose weight measuring in 5 pound increments towards my long term goal, to lose 100 pounds. :s 100 is a big and intimidating number so I'll stick to 5 for now.

Let's be friends! :) Do you have an Apple Watch? Are you meal prepping? Are you working out as well?

Love the title!! Sounds like you have a lot on your plate and it’s honestly encouraging seeing you not let it all get you down. That’s awesome. I’ve started back losing all the weight .. again .. just a few days ago (seriously anyway) so if you want some encouragement feel free to add me.

The best thing is just not to leave. I see this is your first post. What happened to your old account?

    Welcome Patricia :)!!

Best of luck on your journey - definitely a good idea to chisel away at your goal in manageable chunks.

I hope you can find some relief from the medications through your quest of weight loss and health :)

I do have an apple watch but use my heart rate monitor to track my burned calories although I know both methods are still estimates.

I meal prep on Sundays and pre-pack all my breakfasts, lunches, snacks and dinners. It's a pain in the *kitten*, but between commuting and working out after work, there is simply no time to cook during the week. Even as it is, I'm not eating dinner till 9pm which stinks!

I'm working out 4 times a week - lifting on all 4 and incorporating 2 cardio sessions (1 HIIT and 1 LISS) sometimes I squeeze in another cardio session if the weather's nice and a good run is in order.

I struggle the most with staying consistent on weekends. I have managed to do so successfully but doesn't necessarily mean I still don't struggle with it :s Especially since our neighborhood is notorious for delicious restaurants.

I'm getting married in September so that's a huge motivator, but I am looking at making long term changing and maintaining all the effort I've put forth. I gained back 20 of the 30 pounds I lost between November and January and that was a hard pill to swallow since I got to my dream bod and then Thanksgiving triggered a month+ binge and I did some serious damage :(

Do you find you struggle with anything in particular? Are you meal prepping and working out?
