While I'm not new to weight loss struggles, I am new to MFP. By way of introduction, my name is Amy and I'm a 50 year old empty nester (3 grown children) with a brand new grandson - thus my user name. :smiley: My husband and I are both in education. The reason I have turned to this site is a need to get my health back under control. I have MS and am also carrying around quite a bit of extra weight. 202 pounds on a 5'3" frame is not a good thing.

So, I would love to find a friend to help hold me accountable - and be a source of encouragement along the way. Thanks in advance!
