Juicing

Hello everyone, my name is Kellea (Kelly). I am seeking bariatric treatment currently, and I am practicing now with juicing. I was curious if anyone has any input on juicing, juice recipes, or cooking with pulp.

For cooking with pulp, you could make veggie soup. I also made quick breads/muffins replacing whatever produce (banana, carrot, zucchini) recipe called for with the pulp. You could also compost the pulp. Or if you don't compost, you could dig a hole right in your yard or garden and bury pulp. You might even have volunteer tomato or cucumber plants; I did!0

If you're going through a program you should have a list of stuff you can have prior to your surgery. There's a reason they recommend the meal replacement drinks, with juicing you're throwing out half of what makes the fruits and veg so good for you. A lot of vitamins and nutrients you're not getting.3
