Catch up calories

Do you think that it is possible to create a 'calorie debt' the way that you can have a sleep debt? If a person eats a very low calorie diet for an extended period of time, do you think that they start to require 'catch up' calories? Or do you think that your body just works with what it is given and takes it's energy from other sources, such as your fat and muscle?

i think your body works with what its given.
i was told that if you eat a low calorie diet for a while and then one day eat a high amount of calories your body will store some of those calories as fat for the next time it isnt being fed enough.

It takes, from fat, muscle, and will slow down or shut down non essential functions (you may lose hair and nails become brittle)

i agree with what he said
also your body will grow a peach like fuzz all over to keep you warm and your nails will have a blueish tint to them
your metabolism will also slow down so if a person would want to do this they should mix up the numbers a bit throwing in some highish calorie days

i dont think it really matters. i dont think your body remembers what you ate the day before i think if it needs calories at the time it will just take as much as it needs from where ever. since it now has what it needed you wont be in a calorie debt. Your body is taking calories from your fat and muscle and then burning that off that is why you loose weight.
