Hey all!!I have been working out for a years but recently got more serious about weight lifting and building more lean muscle and reducing fat. I just started counting macros to try and get the best results. I have found numerous different macros calculators online and they all seem to be giving me different grams for proteins, carbs and fats. Any suggestions on best calculator? Thanks!!!

Macros are pretty much personal preference. Building muscle depends mostly on your workout, and losing fat comes down to calories.

General recommendations for health and fitness is 0.6-0.8g of protein per lb of body weight and 0.3g of fat per lb. You can eat more than that if you want. I know some folks feel more protein is better, but it doesn't seem like there is a consensus there.

If you don't get too many replies here, you might try posting in the Gaining Weight/Bodybuilding thread :drinker:

I use carb Manager for macros. It helps me stay on track.

The macros depends on the diet your doing. For instance I'm doing the keto diet so I'm on a low carb high fat diet.
