sudden weight change

This morning when I did my weigh-in I had gained about two pounds this week. I have not overeaten, have not done strength training and i am drinking about 10-12 glasses of water a day, I have been doing this for about 5 weeks and have been losing 2-3 pounds each week. Any ideas?

    Did you have something with a lot of salt in it last night? That will cause you to retain water.
