Hi all.
I'm trying to eat more healthily and loose quite a bit of weight.
I seem to get stuck for breakfast ideas, I'm allergic to nuts and some seeds, don't like eggs, milk, yoghurt, avocado or porridge/ cereal.
I have been eating lots of bread based breakfasts (with lots of butter).
Any ideas for something healthier?

    Dinner leftovers?
Protein smoothie - with protein powder, some fruit and greens, something for fat?

Measure out the butter. I’d say reduce it to a teaspoon.

Your breakfast is short on protein. You may try a Japanese breakfast using Miso soup as the base.

I have two slices of smoked ham and an egg on a small slice of wholemeal. Protein is key to keeping you full.

Thanks everyone. I'm taking all of your ideas on board. I think that ignoring my preconceived ideas about breakfast will be helpful, trying to get some protein in and using dinner leftovers are great ideas

Ugh. I’m the same way. I don’t want to eat anything before 9/10am. Nothing sounds good. My RD asks that I eat within the hour of rising. I want to gag.

You can eat any food for breakfast that you might eat another time of day. Bread and fats can be part of a healthy diet.
You don't say what you want to improve about yoir diet nutritionally so I am going to guess you could stand to add more fruits, vegetables or protein foods to your meals.

    Soup
    Beans and rice
    Salad
    Meat
Stir fry with vegetables and meat
    Baked potato
    Roasted vegetables
    Raw vegetables and hummus
    Cottage cheese
    Fruit
    Sandwich or wrap
    Taco
    Pasta
    Muffins

Same. I used to only eat bread for breakfast.
But I’ve been eating apple & sweet potatoes or banana & protein shake for breakfast this past 2 weeks.
