Is anyone eating 1600-1800 calories a day n losing weight which includes exercise? Iv just used the tdee calculator n this is what it came out with but it seems too many calories? I do exercise at high intensity during the week. Is this realistic for my height I’m currently 9st looking to get to 8st.

Why does that seem like too many calories to you? Lots of people can lose on 1,600-1,800 a day, especially if exercise is involved.4

Are you currently logging and hitting a calorie goal consistently? If so, how much weight loss are you averaging? Estimates are a good place to start, but your real life results are always going to be your best guide.
If you aren't currently logging, I recommend starting with a basic calorie goal, logging consistently, and then observing your results for a few weeks. You can then make changes based on your progress.2 -

That's about what my 5'2" wife eats to lose about 1 Lb per week. She typically runs 45-60 minutes 5x per week and lifts 1x per week and is generally lightly active on top of that.0 -
I'm 5'2 and lost about 35 lbs eating b/w 1600-1900 total calories, am currently maintaining b/w 116-120 with a TDEE of about 2100.
Do you have a FitBit or other activity tracker? What TDEE calculator did you use?
I agree with @janejellyroll that real results, especially when a person is consistent and accurate with their logging, are a better predictor of what maintenance calories will be than an online calculator.4 -
I’m also 5ft 2 and lose at 1,600 cals per day. I’m a lot more than 9st though, so I’m averaging a loss of about 1kg per week (about 2lb). I average about 10,000 steps per day but currently don’t do a lot of exercise outside of that.1

Im 5'3" and I get 1240 calories a day before exercise. Today I got an extra 550. I have lost 1.5 pounds week for the last 12.5 weeks!2

im 5'1 , and around 1600 is maintenance for me. So, if youre getting a lot of exercise, it seems quite likely thats correct.1

Yeah I'm 5 ft 2, I lost 0.5lb a week averaging 1700-1800 cals. I'm lightly active and 48 Yrs (maintain 125lbs on around 2000).1

I'm almost 5'4 and 123.5, losing on 1600-1800. And I *kitten* up my metabolism with an eating disorder. So if it works for me, I'm pretty sure it will work for you. When you don't binge, it's surprising how much you can eat.

Yup! I am. It's totally doable.. I just make sure not to eat that high on days I don't workout and I am good.

I’m 5’1” and I need to eat less than 1,200 to lose and get in at least 15,000 steps a day4

If you're active in your day-to-day life on top of exercise, then absolutely. But that all depends on how accurate you are with logging food, as well. The more accurate you are (using a food scale and verifying database entries) the easier time you'll have of eating as much as possible and still losing weight. For reference, I'm 5'1", 139lbs, and fall under active according to my Fitbit. The only intentional exercise I do is strength training 3 or 4 times a week. I'm still nursing a baby who turns one next week and losing a pound a week with 2070 on average. So my maintenance calories are somewhere north of 2070.0

I’m 5’2” and lost from 208 to 158 on 2000 - 2400 net a day, which worked out to 3-5 pounds a month (I’m working on my last 25 at 1800-ish). Most people dramatically underestimate their portions, which gives them a really skewed sense of how much they can eat to lose weight. Plus, it’s really hard to stick to very low calorie diets, so people might toss in a cheat day or meal that can cancel out more than you expect if you aren’t careful. Buy a food scale, spend some time being really, really meticulous about measuring and it will open your eyes. Good luck - you can do this, and you don’t have to starve while doing it - you just have to be patient and consistent.4

I'm 5'1" and weigh 120. I'm very active and my TDEE ranges from 2300-2500 calories.
I walk a lot throughout the day and lift weights 3-4 times a week.3 -

I've been trying to eat 1300 calories on and off for a while but I end up going on a binge and constantly restarting, then giving up again. I was not eating exercise calories however I need to have a better plan so I'll see how I get on with higher calories and hopefully that will get me out of the rut Im in. Thanks for the enlightenment everyone!0 -
I'm 5'3" and have my goal set to 1500, but end up eating an average of 1600 calories a day if you look at my week, and I consistently lose 1.3 lbs/week. There are some days I eat about 1300, and some days I eat about 2000, but it all evens out. I do work out regularly, and walk a lot.2

I'm 5'2, I get about 12-15k steps per day, 3 days of cardio and weight lifting 2 days a week. I eat about 1500-1700 a day and have been losing a little over 1lb a week (averaged) for the last month0

How accurate is your logging, are you weighing your food with a food scale? Have you dieted with extremely low calories in the past, or for long periods of time? Have you done a diet break or refeed? How much weight are you trying to lose and what rate of loss are you seeing at those calories and activity level?3 -
I always eat at least a portionof my exercise calories back- so i lose on 1350-1450- a day(small weight loss) but still.....0
-
I'm 5'1 & I eat 1800 for maintenance, no exercise (but my job is slightly active ).. so I'm sure if you workout 1600 would be a great deficit0
-
5'2 here I get about 12-15k steps per day - I do have a desk job but I purposely make sure I get plenty of walking in everyday. I also workout 5 days a week (3 days cardio, 2 days lifting) I am losing about 1-1.5lbs a week on 1500-1700 calories a day. My maintenance calories should be around 2100 I'm guessing.0

My TDEE on very active days is 3000 calories (24 mins/250 calorie stairmaster + 26 mins/250 calorie bike + 2 miles/250 calorie incline power walk)
+
Running errands, parking further away, taking the stairs adds on 300-400 active calories
I find my appetite is higher in proportion on active days (or if I undereat too much, it's higher the next day) so my deficit is usually 600-700 calories on active days which is 2300-2400 calories.
However, less active in general days, I burn 500 calories at the gym and sit around a lot more the rest of the day, burning 2400-2650 TDEE, eating 1900-2200.
If I skip the gym and take a full rest day which happens 2-3x/month, I burn 1700-2000 maybe running 1 errand but otherwise on my couch to "recharge" and I generally eat around tdee.
I'm not losing fast (2 lbs/mo) but I'm staying consistent and weigh most foods, cook at home. Unavoidable happy hours and social outings for my career set me back sometimes but I'm not going to miss out on life because I'm dieting...been there done that.
I also have been working with my endo to get my thyroid levels up to a normal range. I used to lose much easier than I did before my thyroid tanked a few years ago.0
