Hey everyone! I am helping host a charity Trivia night and we are trying to come up with Categories. Have any of you ever been to one and if so, what were some fun categories that you enjoyed? Any input is appreciated!! Thanks :drinker:

love trivia nights:
History: local, american, European etc. - local history seems to always be a good one
Music: classic, current
art: can structure these to be easy ie: who painted Mona Lisa or tricky such as who does the Mona Lisa represent
Movies/TV-go far back to charlie Chaplin and ask current questions like from the bachelor(is that still on)
Math: what does PI stand for, how many sides in a hexagon etc.
I once went to one that had a cartoon category- with questions like- who first drew mickey mouse(not who you think), what does the road runner always say, to anime questions and current cartoon trivia
Also, trivial pursuit can give good inspiration
suggestion: stay away from political/religous/ethical questions0 -
Famous movie quotes and lines from popular songs have always been hits when I have played0
