Hello all, i'm Steve, 29, 5'10. I've bounced up and down between 13 stone and 15 stone since i was around 22 however it keeps creeping up. At the start of last year i weighed 16stone 6 and managed to get down to below 14 stone for being the best man at a wedding. Since i've returned from that i have went back up to around 16 stone however i have noticed that this time it is having a much bigger effect on my overall happiness so it's time to finally make it stick.

Any tips?

Set a sustainable rate of loss - the fastest is not necessarily suitable for the long haul

Don't make drastic changes all at once - make small changes over time.

Be consistent - a consistent calorie deficit over time is all you need to lose weight, don't overcomplicate it.

    Be patient - it's a marathon not a sprint.
