Hello! I've been using MFP for about a month since I started to watch calories to try to lose 25 lbs. (more later but my goal is to be 150). I'd never given any thought to calories or anything but never had a weight problem until I started a job a couple years ago where I'm completely sedentary. I've tried to calculate about how many calories I had on average per day previously and it had to be upwards of 3,000 (I was a Coca Cola-aholic). I've cut back to 1300 per day but am allowing myself room for 1500 if needed, so I don't feel too hungry. I've lost 9 lbs since I started a month ago. I think this is a good start. Do you think this trend is sustainable to hit my goal within a couple month? Thank you

I am not exercising right now. I'm so sedentary at work, I lack motivation and just want to veg out. I have noticed though, I feel better overall and have been more active than usual, just not exercising. It's something I know I need to do and want to Want to do but for now, I'm hoping the calorie restriction will get me there in a couple of months. I worry about plateauing, I'll keep it in mind to switch things up, and maybe since I am starting to feel better (from eating better) maybe I'll get the energy to exercise. Thank you!
