Hey all!!
I started my lifestyle change on January 15th of this year. I followed weight watchers free style and lost 10lbs in two months. But since March 5th I haven’t lost any weight. Been experimenting trying to figure out what to do but I’m chalking it up to eating too many free foods. And since I haven’t pin pointed how much to cut back since that hasn’t seemed to help either I’m going to macro tracking instead on MFP. I know that macro tracking is the way to go since I can be absolutely sure I’m eating the proper amount of nutrients but sometimes it’s such a drag. But this is something I need to do in order to get the goals I want. So any new friends would be greatly appreciated! I’m looking forward to getting fit with all of you

Macro tracking can help you balance your diet, but it's neither a requirement for weightloss, nor a guarantee you're eating healthily. If you log your food intake correctly (food scale, genuine entries, not cheating) and hit your calorie goal (assuming it's set correctly), over time, you'll lose all your excess weight.1

I find that if I have a protein and a pile of vegetables and a starchy vegetable or grains for my dinner, it covers a lot of errors during the day.
Fruit and grains in the morning. Yogurt at some point during the day. Vegetables and protein in snacks. Done and done.
Balance.Welcome to the forums.

Hi there, good luck on your journey, having that support next work is good and it does help a lot, however by having a healthy diet and exercising regularly and building into your new life style will help maintain your weight when you get to goal weight, often people diet and get to their goal weight and stop. That's when the weight goes back on because they are not continuing the healthy life style. That's exactly what happened to me, this time round I'm changing my life style so it becomes an on going thing. Feel free to add me for motivation and support. You will get their.0
