First off i want to state I've used MFP since 2011.. lost 50 lbs logging and with exercise. Few years later here I am struggling to lose 20 lbs after my 4th baby. She will be 2yrs old in Aug.
I lost 30lbs by 2 months postpartum.. since then I basically maintained... I have increased my exercise. I log my calories. I weigh my food. I even started taking diet pills to help curb the appetite . I've done low carb cycle. Lo w cal intake. I run / strength train an average of 4-5 days a week. And I'm getting nowhere. Scale won't move. Neither have my measurements.
Whyyyy someone help. I dnt know what else to do. I've lost the weight after each kid. So I'm not new to this. Why won't it work this time???

How long have you given it before you decided what you were doing didn't work? It's usually best to give things a 4-6 week timeframe before assessing whether you need to tweak.

Calorie counting is both an art and a science. There are just some areas where it’s not going to be that exact.

Have you reset your calories at your new lower weight? Are you tracking absolutely everything? If you’re doing family food prep, are any calories sneaking in during that? Are any sneaking in cleaning the kids plates? It happens.

If you’re got a good tight food diary and have calculated a moderate deficit and still aren’t losing, cut a few more calories. Keep doing it until you get a downward trend going again.

All these gadgets give us the impression that the information they put out is exact. It’s not. The numbers are based on averages. No one can tell you what number you need to be at for a deficit outside of a lab. So if you can’t find any off the books calories sneaking in, lower the number a bit. Seems to be the only other option.

Ummm like 1 year...... I've been actively trying to lose weight since my baby was born. Running 4xs a week started in January..

Could you be missing logging snacks? all it takes is a little nibble here or there that's unaccounted for to be eating at maintenance calories rather than at deficit.

You could try seeing a doctor in case there’s a medical issue involved.

Maybe you’re eating maintenance? I’ve been seeing that people weigh their food to ensure that they’re eating the exact amount of calories.

Also, maybe you could try changing up your workout routine? Doing something new and fun might help push you harder and challenge your body more. Good luck!!

You did say you tried a bunch of different things though - did you give each new plan a year each or were you cycling through different approaches over one year? If it’s the latter it could still be that you haven’t given each approach long enough to know if it’s really working for you.
You say that you’ve been running since January- are you eating your exercise calories back, and if you are, are you accurately measuring your calorie burn?

If you feel you have logged accurately and nothing is working after a long period then it would seem time to visit your doctor.
