that's the menu....
I'm thinking that one of the two shrimp dishes is probably the best bet... the hungry person in me is saying Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich!

its happy hour.. why are you eating?
So you can drink more! LOL0 -
Enter it before you go and see what fits into your goals.0

Penn Cove Mussels (White Wine Garlic) sounds good to me. Not sure how they cook it though.0
-
The hummus and pita chips sounds OK. I'm not sure how bad pita chips are tho0

The best thing to eat when you're drinking is protein and veggies....they will stay with you the longest so you don't keep munching all night and are typically pretty low cal.0

you may want to just eat off of an appetizer instead ofgetting a meal so that way you dont over eat, save the calories for your drinks...0

I would go for the sauteed shrimp or the mussels. Just make sure they use butter on the shrimp ( you can always ask the server)0

Pretzels.....
Save your cals for the drinks!0 -
BY the way.. That place is amazing! used to go to lunch there when I worked in the WaMu tower! YUM!
But like I said before.. Why eat? save the cals for the drinks!0 -
mussels and sauteed shrimp.....maybe hummus if you can contain the chips....shrimp quesadilla will have too much cheese.......and then any veggie you can get your hands on - good luck you can do this .
LOL- shame on you for that chicken buttermilk, death on a plate idea......0 -
Are you going because friends are going, or are you going 'cause you like the food/drinks?
If you are going for just social reasons, then eat up healthy at home first and drink lots of water ahead of time. Then "share" an appetizer with friends and just eat a few for taste and to be sociable.
If the latter, you are on your own0 -
Stay away from that fried chicken! Eat something healthy ahead of time if necessary and stick with the non-breaded shrimp or the Penn Cove mussels. I'm getting hungry just reading the menu.0

its happy hour.. why are you eating?
Did you see the prices?
lol...
I go to happy hour to eat and not drink... I get the minimum drink allowed and ask for water on the side and take advantage of the cheap food. It's date night for me and the fiancee so we usually go to a happy hour for a cheap dinner and then catch a movie or do something else.
I know the mussels will not be filling at all for me... though I do love mussels. Thinking the sauteed shrimp will be the way to go and then I can go on a veggie binge if I am still hungry when I get home. Thanks for the advice.0
