    I love costumes in general, so I would love to go to DragonCon (we live in Metro ATL after all) in costume. I'm more into sci-fi than anime. I've considered dressing up as Kaylee Fry or maybe Inara (from Firefly) a hobbit or Eowyn from LotR, or maybe Princess Leia. I'd love to make a copy of one of the on screen costumes.

    I've been to several RenFests and Highland Fests in non-historically accurate costumes. I'd love to make some real garb.

    I'm fascinated by historically accurate garb. It combines my love of sewing and history. It's on my bucket list to make a real historically accurate outfit for myself. Everything;chemise, corset, petticoats, skirt and bodice.

    Yep! I know a few people that LARP! haha, it looks fun, but I really dont wanna get hurt so I dont do it XP

    i cosplayed once when i was 13, i was Rei Ayanami but looked awful xD ahhh good times, good times haha.

    i would like to costly sometime in the future (maybe next year) as Taiga from ToraDora. :D

    My college has a LARP club! They're out in the woods every Saturday morning. :) I used to work in the cafeteria and would love when they came to dinner in costume.

    I used to cosplay. Now I dress up as hyena and run around (I made both of those costumes, that was me 15 lbs heavier than I am now):

    I cosplayed as Rukia Kuchiki at a convention last year.... the day after the convention I decided I needed to lose weight for next years convention.

    So next years cosplay plans:

    I do! *waves hand* Honestly, my desire to cosplay more effectively is totally one of my key motivations for losing weight >.<

    I've cosplayed from Kateikyoushi Hitman Reborn, Sailor Moon, Sucker Punch, Bleach, Angel Beats!, and Code Geass. With like...6 costumes in the works~

    I really started this whole fitness thing because I was in queue to buy tickets to comiccon, and boyfriend and I were going to do a Ed/Winry cosplay together. I said no way am I going to be the overweight girl showing off her belly.

    So 9 months later I lost 25ish pounds, around 30 inches of me from all over, dropped from 14 pants to almost a 4 (my 6s are falling off) but our queue for tickets never came, website went down and all that... so we didn't go :(

    didn't make costumes yet either. but yeah that is a major goal for me :) i love seeing great cosplays and I would really like to take part in that culture.

    Hi! I got into cosplay a little more than a year ago. Ukraine from Hetalia to be exact, but I've gained about 10 pounds since last year so looking at all of this year's photoshoot pictures have been rather depressing. Right now I'm trying to lose some weight for a few more Ukraine cosplay, plus an LA Noire photoshoot this January and a pin up Team Fortress cosplay this June (that's a serious motivator since I'll be running around a con wearing garters and back seamed stockings). A lot of the characters I want to cosplay though are women who are rather curvy since I'm naturally an hourglass figure who was never destined to be lithe and graceful, but I don't mind.

    Found theres a comic con in Winnipeg next month, so I'm gonna go.

    Got my costume in the mail this morning.



    I know nothing about anime, so I'm going as a penguin.

    It does indeed!

    I've never cosplayed, tried larp this summer and a discussion with a friend came up about going to a con together next summer - and if we do we'd *have* to cosplay.. or at least dress up :P

    been in the sca, but that's not quite the same though it involves costumes.
