My name is Stephanie and I just started my first full-time job after college. I can't tell you how many times I have tried to work out and lose weight in the past 8 years of my life--its been a lot. I was happy with my body at the end of high school and I kept a pretty steady work out plan into college, but for some reason I gained thirty pounds--I don't know if I wasn't pushing myself enough or if I didn't restrict my calories enough... I would really love to be in the best shape ever and I think doing this alone is a bad idea.

Some of my goals:
- Run a 5K under 30 minutes (I have one a week from Saturday and I have been training pretty hard)
- Get my old high school swimming time in the 500 yard freestyle (6 min.)
- Lose 30-50 pounds
- Gain strength and muscle
- Feel good in my clothes
- Avoid intense anxiety when I get a notification that someone has tagged me in a photo on Facebook :)

If you share these goals or have any ideas for me, I am totally open. Add me or let me know if you would like me to add you.

Hahah, yikes. That one definitely!!! As well as most of the other goals as well. I'm looking to lose about 40 more pounds and gain strength and muscle. I'll definitely add you!

I was in your exact position last January, just graduated and was starting my first job... a desk job! I got myself into gear and now I'm nearly at my goal weight a year and a half later. Not being in school really helped tho, much more free time and a constant schedule so I could plan food and workouts. Just make a habit of working out every day after work, that's what I did so now it's not a question of "if", it's just which workout do I want to do!

I hear you, especially with the fearful facebook tags! Weight loss is a huge challange. I can walk a pretty fair amount, I would love to be able to run, and do what you are going to do. I say in time I can do that.
You are doing great. If you'd like to friend me feel free to.
  • I just finished my undergrad, and I've just gotten started with getting healthy. College required so much time and energy and I found it too hard to focus on me health goals too. Not that I even really made health goals...

Feel free to add me, it looks like we have many similar goals! We can support each other!
