New..well sorta!

I'm 10 days in! My name is Sara and I am trying to loose weight and be healthier! So far in the past 10 days I've lost 6lbs and gained 2.5lbs back. I think that is due to it being my time of the month...but then again I had a LOT of carbs on sunday...and now I know why!

I have an extremely low metabolism and no desire to eat vegetables so any advice would be great!

    I while ago I read the Paul McKenna "I can make you thin" book (great read btw). In it he said that exercise helps to speed up your metabolism lots. My friend also says that apples can help it out a bit too but I haven't really read much about that one.
