Hi, I’m thinking of making the switch from weight watchers to mfp. I’ve lost 2 stone so far with WW, but my losses have stalled and I’ve only lost about 3lbs in the last 6 weeks or so.

One of the things I love about WW is the extra weekly points which allow for a cheat meal (of sorts) or a wine or 2 on a Saturday night.

Can I still allow for this using mfp my saving 100 cals per day during the week?

Thank yiu

I don’t know a lot about WW but I think their system just calorie counts for you. Start using this app in tandem with WW and see how many calories you consume / should have
A lot of people here, myself included, “save up” calories to use over the weekend.

A loss of 1 pound of body fat takes a calorie deficit of 3500 calories.

As you lose weight, the maximum rate of fat loss, drops. For the last pounds, 0.5 pounds per week is optimal.

Successful weightloss is not about how little you can eat, but about how long you can eat less.

People who are successful at weight management, usually don't have cheat meals, which easily translates to a "cheat mindset".

Many successful MFP users bank calories for weekends or special occasions.

You can eat anything you want anytime you want.

When successful people decide what they want, they consider long term results as well as immediate gratification.

I have moved from WW to MFP and I am seeing the same results. I think it is easier to track with MFP, as I have not had to substitute one food for something similar on this ap. They have thousands and thousands, so I think my count is more accurate than with WW. Hope this helps.
