I'm looking for some pals :)

So I can't do this on my own, because I lose interest and fall off the eating right and exercising wagon. I'm trying to hold myself accountable, but it sure would be nice to have some friends that can relate to my situation and help me out.
I have two kids, but I won't blame them for my weight as I've always been curvy. Really, I haven't been under 150 since middle school. Right now, as of this morning's weigh in, I'm 221. I was down to 195 last September, and then holidays happened, followed right afterwards by a long and drawn out move that I gave myself license to eat everything I wanted for, which was obviously a bad idea. I went dress shopping last weekend and had a huge wake-up call. So I'm back to trying to lose this darn weight. I'd love to be 140, and I would be happy at 150, even 160. Just smaller than my hubby, ya know?
Anyone out there in the same boat and want to be my pal?

You can friend me. But utlimately we can provide support, but you have to be totally committed, or it just won't work. It's easy to keep it going a few weeks, but long term weight loss and maintaining takes serious dedication. I am similar to you, except the kids part. I'll be there to cheer you on.0

I have a similar goal. I would like to be 140 and I have never been that small. You can add me if you would like--its not easy to do this alone at all!! Plus, I know what its like to compete with men--my bf puts absolutly no effort into his eating habits and he has been the same weight since his freshman year of college.0

I'm at 162 right now, and working, very hard, I think I was 120 in middle school, 140 all thru high school, and so many other things that made it jump up! I get alot of strength from knowing I'm not alone, an deveryone here motivates me to do the best I can!0

Girl we hear ya! We are all putting one foot in front of the other.... some days we do it at a dead RUN.... other days we are at a stroll.... the main thing is to keep moving FORWARD! You will take steps backward but you can't let that be an excuse to give up. Keep checking in... keep posting your food journal.... it will happen. You can do this! I'll "friend" request you.... we can keep each other motivated!0
