I know body types/shapes vary GREATLY... However I'm noticing more and more people my height and weight (5'9"/194) who look muuuuch thinner than I do! Anyone else notice this ever?

They could have a bigger frame than you do which would mean they have more bone and muscle mass. Don't worry about anyone else and what they look like, just work on you! It'll make it so much easier.

I think it's all in your head - we always compare. Just concentrate on yourself.

Everyone's different. Muscle and fat weigh different amounts so body composition can greatly vary. I started out at 300 and most people have said it looks like I weighed 240-250.

Heck yeah- I think people my height who actually weigh more than me look smaller....... I think it might just be that we're wierd (my husband always asks me what kind of mirror Im looking in....)
That OR the same amount of muscle (weight) looks smaller than fat.......

They may have their weight in their hips, butt, and thighs and have a small waist. OR they could be more muscular. Some people my same weight and height look way bigger than me and some smaller. Height 5ft tall SW 190 CW 190 GW 145

People carry weight differently. A friend of mine are the same height and weight yet she looks a lot heavier than I do (at least that's what people tell us). For some reason, I carry weight a lot differently.

I understand how you feel, because I've often felt the same way. We all need to stop comparing ourselves to others. No 2 people are exactly the same. Just be the best YOU, you can be!

To the OP, I feel your pain! Some people look amazing 20lbs heavier than I am now. I went on a website that showed women of your height and weight, the idea being to make you feel better about yourself, but came away feeling depressed.

Is the difference real or imagined? Not sure but it's still there...
