"You don't look sick."
"You're so young." Sorry, Crohn's didn't ask for my birth certificate before it decided to attack my body.

You shouldn't lift heavy weights....you'll get bulky. STFU.4

My dad told me that my teeth were ugly once. Yet they never did anything to get me braces, until I did it myself when I was 36...
Oh yeah the anxiety thing. 'just calm down'. Or people telling you that 'happiness is a choice' when you have depression... no, just no.6 -
I've had multiple people say "you've lost weight... Are you trying to?". Yes, I am trying to. I also enjoy when it's implied that I'm sick and that's why I'm losing weight.3

"Why are you doing those exercises, you should just cut out carbs" Because training for OCR is the same as what my grandfather does to control his diabetes. ummhmmm3

Something wrong with your car?
This was said to me by a mechanic as I pushed my car into the parking lot.
My response: no, I just get better gas mileage this way.7 -

Yeah, I can't even imagine how someone could say this. Unbelievable.
Agreed. I also don't even really get it. Maybe because I'm not a mom but I have literally never heard anyone say "if it's a C-section you're not a real mom". WTF?

That was a terrible thing for that "friend" to say. She must have been a real jerk, or a real idiot, or both.
My first was a c-section under general anasthesia, so I was asleep for the whole thing. When I woke up, they wheeled me to NICU to see my daughter. When I got back to my room and was talking about getting to see her, one of the family members in the room (not my husband because he has better sense than that) pointed out that she got to see my baby before I did.
