1200 calorie diet - Can I exercise without increasing calories ?

want to avoid losing the little muscle definition that I do have
Current weight: 179.4
Goal weight: 141.0
Ideally, I want to lose 2 lbs/wk if at all possible. Any and all advice is appreciated. Thank you!

If MFP gave you 1200 calories for two pounds a week, then your goal is too aggressive. You have to have a 1000-calorie deficit per day, and with 1200 being the minimum intake you can’t safely reach that size of a deficit. Your best option, especially if you’re wanting to preserve muscle, is to aim for a pound a week and eat back at least a portion of your exercise calories.1
