Do you think I can get to 175 by Halloween? I'm currently 194 right now.. Is that a reasonable/seemingly attainable goal? Or does it appear I may be setting myself up for failure? I'm 5'9" if it makes a difference =)

Absolutely! 15-20 in a single month is very doable.

If you need another person in your corner ADD ME! (that goes for everyone).

2 pounds a week is not impossible. If you commit to it and work hard I don't see how you cannot do it.

That is approximately 1.75 lbs lost per week between now and Halloween. 1 to 2 lbs per week weight loss is a safe rate for healthy weight loss that can be maintained..so yes, I would definitely say losing 19 lbs in the next 11 (ish) weeks is possible.

That would be 4lbs per week. Sure..You could do that. It will be mostly water and muscle loss, and will quickly be put right back on. 15 to 20 lbs lost in a single month is absolutely not a healthy goal to set unless you are obese and have a lot to lose (more you have to lose, the faster you will lose weight at first).

Luckily this poster has more than 2 months to take those 19 lbs off.
