What do you put in your shakeology?

I just received some sample packs and am excited to give it a try. It says mix with water, but that sounds way too boring. Milk may be a good choice, but im just wondering what you shakeology drinkers add to yours to make it more tasty.

My standard shake.
Mixed Frozen Fruit (about 1 cup), 1/2 c 2% milk, 1 container of Yoplait Light Yogurt, 1-2 Tbls of Flax, 1 packet of Stevia. Could add protein powder now and then too0 -
i have the chocolate shakeology. and i i use unsweetened vanilla almond milk. i tried almond milk with banana and it was horrible. and i tried almond milk with peanut butter and it was horrible. but almond milk with the shakeology was tolerable. i'm slightly looking forward to it tmrw.0

My favorite shakeology recipe is 1/2 cup skim milk, ice, frozen strawberries, and 1 scoop chocolate shakeology. I like it thicker than most. It doesn't taste very good at all with water, and I've gotten to the point where I can drink it like that if needed, but if you mix it with water, and try it, you maybe won't like it at the beginning. I know many people who have done this and have strayed away from it.0

For chocolate I usually use almond milk, banana and PB2. I've also added ground flax seed or protein powder on occasion. For greenberry I use either a 50/50 juice/water blend or coconut water, plain yogurt and frozen fruit. I've also tried aloe juice which was unexpectedly tasty.0

My favorite is with almond milk, peanut butter and just a little bit of cheesecake flavored pudding powder...but sometimes I'll make Chocolate covered strawberries (shakeology, almond milk, strawberries) or Peppermint Mocha (cold brewed coffee, almond milk, and a teeny bit of peppermint extract.)
The possibilities are endless!0 -

I've come up with several delicious combinations with the chocolate Shakeology. All involve 1 cup almond milk (or any milk of your choosing) + one of the following:
1) 1 tbsp peanut butter + 1 banana + 4 ice cubes
2) 1 cup frozen raspberries (though the seeds can get annoying) + 2 ice cubes
3) 1 cup frozen cherries
4) 1/2 cup cold coffee + 6 ice cubes + a few drops of peppermint extract
5) 1 tbsp peanut butter + 1 tbsp real maple syrup
Yes, I know it looks weird with the varying amounts of ice cubes. That's just to get it to the actual milkshake consistency that I like.0 -
I love Shakeology. I drink it everyday and I find myself craving it. Here is my favorite
1 Scoop Chocolate Shakeology
1 Cup Skim Milk
1 Tbsp Jif Natural Peanut Butter
Ice to Taste0 -
I prefer it in the blender with vanilla almond milk (about 1/2 cup), water (1/2 cup), 2 tablespoons all natural PB (smuckers) and on scoop chocolate shakeology with about 3 - 4 ice cubes - tastes like a pb cup! Also like it with the 1:1 vanilla almond milk, water, cup raspberries, and about 1/4 package of cheesecake pudding mix (sometimes you have to adjust the water, depending on how much pudding) and then the ice or I used frozen raspberries and skip the ice! 8 oz STRONG cold coffee and 1 scoop of the chocolate also suits me some mornings. Play with it, you'll find lots of things can be done and it's really pretty tasty!0

My favorite is the chocolate with 1/2 cup of unsweetened almond milk, a tbsp of natural pb, a banana, a half a tbsp of honey, 2 tsps of cinnamon and sometimes I throw in a tbsp of flax seed meal and vanilla extract. I do use water too, about 3/4 of a cup and a ton of ice so the thing is huge and very filling!
Last night I had it with frozen blueberries and half a banana, but I wasn't screaming about it. Not usually a big fan with blueberries in it for some reason. I tried it with the SF/FF butterscotch pudding mix but I feel like that made it taste fake and diet like so I am thinking of trying to just find butterscotch extract and using it with some pb. I also made the mistake of measuring peppermint extract over the blender while making the mint chocolate flavor and got way too much in there. It was so gross I don't know if I am even going to try it again!
I always look for new recipes different from the ones beachbody gives you on the calendar so I am interested to see what people do here! I have trouble straying from my favorite mix though because it is soo good! I am always so sad when it is gone!0 -
Great! Thank you all for your wonderful ideas :-)0

LOL...I learned my lesson the hard way about peppermint extract like that, too! Now, it's strictly over the sink and only 1/8 teaspoon or less. Much happier that way.0 -
