Todays bike ride.

Longest distance (48.5km) and highest top speed (61.2kp/h) achieved today. I wonder if this route would be faster if I did it the opposite direction?

    Wow I don't think I've ever hit that max speed! I'm pretty sure if I did it would be as i was shimmying out of control around a corner! Congratulations on your ride :)

    Yes faster in the other direction for sure....if you hammer the first uphill. Use you energy on the hills. There is little speed/time to be gain going down and pedaling moderate. The last up hill will also require so effort.

    Now off to ride 100 miles.

    Same here. I like that steep climb towards the end to finish things off with a steady descent to cool down.
